There are many ways to have fun and get fit at Paulette’s Studio of Dance. See the following information for upcoming dance classes, dance fitness classes, workshops, and dance parties.
Kids’ Dance Classes:
We are introducing new dance classes for kids. The weekly kids’ classes are a combination of Lyrical and Hip-Hop styles.
The classes for ages 3-6 are held from 4:30-5:30pm every Wednesday. The classes for ages 7-11 are held from 4:30-5:30pm every Thursday. These classes are for girls and boys!
We are now registering participants for the Kids’ Dance Classes. The cost for the kids’ classes is $55 per month. Call Paulette at 419-654-3262 to register or if you need more details about the classes.
NEW! Mambo Classes:
Learn to Mambo every Saturday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm with Jose and Charlotte. The Mambo dance originated in Cuba as a mixture of Afro-Caribbean and Latin American cultures. Mambo is exciting and exhilarating and a favorite of dancers. This is a group class. A partner is not required. The fee for the weekly workshop is $20 per person.
Great Gatsby Dance Party – Party like its 1922!
Join us on Friday, May 10th at 8:00pm for an elegant “Great Gatsby Party” to mark the opening of the new movie and to celebrate the Roaring 20’s. Dress in your favorite socialite, flapper, dapper jazz ager, or gangster outfit circa 1922. There will be prizes for the best vintage costume (costumes are optional).
There will be two party rooms with dancing for this soiree. The main room will serve as a grand ballroom reminiscent of the Gatsby Estate. Enjoy a variety of music for dancing, including music from the era. The second room will be a Speak Easy hangout where there will be saucy Latin & Tango dancing. Don’t forget the secret password!
There will be special aerial dance performances and song and dance numbers as well to make the evening memorable.
Bring your own hooch (alcoholic beverages), but don’t get caught by the coppers!
We will host our regular Group Dance Lesson from 7:00 – 8:00pm (stay for the dance party for just an additional $5 admission per person).
The Great Gatsby Party starts at 8:00pm with dancing until 11:00pm (admission to the party is only $10 per person).
